Tom Haine
State's Attorney
I’m proud to back Ray Strebel for Alton Mayor in this crucial election. As Alderman, he took on problem businesses, pushed for real reforms, and fought to keep our parks safe. He is a strong supporter of Alton Police Department’s excellent efforts at proactive policing and will add new energy and new resources from City Hall to their fight against crime. He also knows the importance of strong and ongoing community engagement, and will renew outreach efforts to every part of our city. In short, Ray Strebel is a leader who gets things done, and as Mayor, he’ll bring the common-sense, results-driven leadership Alton needs to be safer and stronger.

Patrick McRae
Circuit Clerk
Alton needs an innovator, a Mayor with a clear vision who is ready to lead. Ray Strebel is ready to hit the ground running. As you know, Ray has an impressive resume as an entrepreneur, businessman, and in real estate. Alton needs a Mayor like Ray, a family man with a proven record of success. It’s time to send an innovator to the mayor’s seat.

Linda Andreas
County Clerk
Once you meet Ray Strebel, it’s hard not to support him. He and his family are from Alton, so he understands what needs to be done there. He’s been a local leader, serving as an Alderman, revitalizing dilapidated homes for over 20 years, and volunteering his time in the community. Ray is a husband and father who is passionate about restoring Alton to the thriving city it once was. Ray is the only person who can do that and it’s why he has my support for Mayor.

Nick Novacich
Coroner
As Madison County Coroner, my role takes me across the county, and I see firsthand the condition of Alton’s roads and infrastructure. They are crumbling, and residents are the ones paying the price. Ray Strebel is committed to making Alton’s roads safer and improving infrastructure in a fiscally responsible way. Beyond his strong leadership and financial responsibility, Ray’s background is truly impressive—his degree in Environmental Planning speaks to his expertise in sustainable development and smart growth, and his dedication to preserving Alton’s historic homes through numerous renovation projects demonstrates his deep commitment to the city’s beauty and future. Alton needs a leader with vision, dedication, and the ability to get things done. That’s why I proudly endorse Ray Strebel for Mayor of Alton.

David Michael
Auditor
With the high cost of living, residents can’t afford for their local government to spend recklessly and waste funds because it’s going to result in tax increases. That’s been the status quo in Alton for too long. When Ray Strebel is elected Mayor, he will restore fiscal responsibility and operate under the guiding principle of doing more with less.
